Zoё Modiga billed to perform at the international North Sea Jazz Festival alongside Diana Ross, Erykah Badu, Robert Glasper and Nile Rodger

Johannesburg, Monday, 28 March 2022 – Award-winning singer-songwriter, instrumentalist, Pan African activist, fashion-forward creative and guardian of African storytelling has been enlisted to perform at the prestigious NN North Sea Jazz Festival on 9 July 2022, representing as the only South Africa female artist billed to perform.
In her ongoing investigation of what it means to be a woman, black and a storyteller amongst other identity plaguing discoveries, Zoё Modiga will share the stage with headliner Diana Ross and renowned performers like Erykah Badu, Robert Glasper, Nile Rodger, Thundercat and Alicia Keys to name a few.

In excited reverence for another international opportunity to share her craftsmanship, Zoë Modiga shares: “Being added to the NN North Sea Jazz Festival line-up is a dream come true. It’s a bucket list festival for artists globally, and I’m honored to have been recognised for my craft to perform on a stage with the world’s greats.”
Well-versed in sharing the fibre of her art on the world stage, this instalment of Zoë Modiga’s global dominance will lead her to the shores of Parkeren Ahoy, Rotterdam, Netherlands, for the festival.
Zoë Modiga’s inclusion on the prestigious line-up comes off the back of her standout performance this past weekend at the South African State Theatre for the Reimagining of Miriam Makeba with Grammy nominated songstress, Somi.
