Whitemoney yesterday was announced the winner of Big Brother Nigeria ‘shine ya eye’, in an epic season finale, he took home the grand prize of N90 million in second place was the gorgeous Liquorose, who seemed to have handled the loss quite well. Whitemoney has been a fan favorite from the beginning, many sympathized with his touching stories about his humble background and felt the need to cast their vote in favor of him.

Many feel Whitemoney emerged victorious because he played a good and clean game, fans say he was not malicious or toxic like some of the other housemates and he was one of the most entertaining, had great energy and brought a unique level of honesty to the show as well.

The battle for the final prize came down to 6 housemates who eagerly awaited their fate as the show went on outside up until they started to leave as they were being evicted one by one.

The show which started on July 24 2021 finally came to an end yesterday. In the beginning there were 24 housemates, they were evicted week by week as per big brother fashion up until there was only six of them left.

The data was shared according to how votes were cast and Whitemoney managed to scoop 47% of the total votes and his runner up Liqourose got 22% and the rest of the votes were shared amongst the remaining 4 housemates.

“With each season of BBNaija, we task ourselves on delivering great content that will take the excitement a notch higher and meet the entertainment needs of our customers. For this sixth season, we pulled all the stops to give our customers a show like never seen before from Nigeria with end-to-end production best practices under global health and safety standards.” Says John Ugbe, Multichoice Nigeria CEO.

It is amazing to see the Franchise still going strong in Nigeria and other African countries have shown enormous support for the show. Back then the show was inclusive of most African countries and was much bigger but it seems like Big Brother Africa might never return though fans keep asking if they will ever get to see the show again.
