TOWELA KAIRA FT JEMAX MANANA: SONG AND MUSIC VIDEO REVIEW

Towela Kaira teamed up with Jemax and released a music video today called ‘Manana’. The artists have been teasing their fans with images of the release and today the fans finally have it.

Today we will have a mini review of both the music video and the song as they have been released on the same day. There is a very high expectation for the song especially, seeing as in Towela was recently crowned female artist of the year at the just ended Diamond TV personality of the year awards and she has has an amazing year with great songs and video’s so far.

At first glimpse of the music video you can already tell you are about to get a Jamaican type style music video, it is very colorful and looks like one of those sets that everyone must have had a lot of fun. The dance scenes bring back memories of Sean Paul’s Get busy, not sure if that is the vibe they were going for.

Towela had quite an amazing set of clothing in the video as well as Jemax, the video keeps you focused on the screen for the most part, the set up looks like they can be anywhere in the world which is a good thing, the lighting is perfect for the theme they were going for however I wish they had an option of being on another location because the scenes were starting to feel very monotonous but overall it is a fun video.

As for the song, it is definitely a fun summer, danceable song which like the video also has a Jamaican feel to it, the two artists complemented each other well, the song has a catchy tune to it. It can easily be an international hit with the right promotion, its not the best we have heard from Towela vocally. Though Jemax is appreciated the song could have still gone on without him, his presence is not really felt but overall it was a pleasant experience.
