Top 5 London Brunch Cafés

By  |

Now that it is summer and everyone is out and about searching for the best places to eat out, I thought this was the best time to search for some of the best cafés available in London. Here is a list of some nice interior and food locations to enjoy with friends and family.

Sette

Favourite dishes included the rich and creamy polenta with a fricassee of earthy truffled mushrooms, and the beef burger slicked with a sharp horseradish mayonnaise and paired with thick-cut, golden and crispy chips. For dessert, there is refreshing strawberries and vanilla semifreddo, topped with a crunchy almond crumble.

Open: Sundays, 12-4pm
Location: 4 Knightsbridge Green, SW1X 7QA

Bombay Bustle

Dig into an authentic feast of Indian-style brunch dishes, like a doughy naan topped with black truffle shavings and scrambled eggs, or tender, spice-laden lamb keema served on toasted sourdough bread. There are plenty of vegetarian options too. Desserts include a rich, indulgent chocolate fudge sundae.

Open: Sundays, 11am-3pm

Location: 29 Maddox Street, W1S 2PA

Roka Canary Wharf

A Bellini, Bloody Mary or green tea and passion fruit iced tea on arrival, before tucking into the salmon fillet teriyaki, cedar-roast baby chicken with chili, or baby back ribs glazed with spiced master stock and cashew nuts.

Open: Saturdays, 11am-4pm and Sundays and Bank Holidays, 11am-8pm

Location: Park Pavilion, 4, 40 Canada Square, E14 5FW

Riding House Cafe

With smart decor and a buzzy atmosphere plus a reasonably-priced menu, it’s sure to help you kick start your day in just the right way. You’ll get change from a tenner for scrambled eggs and roasted tomatoes on sourdough or smashed avocado on toast with salsa and a toasted, spiced dukkah mix.

Open: Saturdays and Sundays

Location: 43-51 Great Titchfield Street, W1W 7PQ

Mac & Wild

Crushed avocado on toast comes with the possibility of adding haggis, while venison scotch eggs feature on the small-plates line up. For those who don’t mind something a little stronger than tea, there is a good cocktail list which features the Forth Bridge: A punchy mix of vodka, Irn Bru, bitters and lemon.

Open: Saturdays, 11am-6pm and Sundays, 11am-5pm

Location: 65 Great Titchfield Street, W1W 7PS
