TONY BRAXTON LAUNCHES SKINCARE LINE CALLED NUDE SUGAR

Toni Braxton has introduced a brand new skincare line created specifically for people of color called nude sugar, the brand was carefully developed to properly address the demands that come with melanated skin. She is the latest celebrity to enter the world of beauty. It is a Vegan skincare line that can be found exclusively on Ulta.

This came about due to her own struggles with dryness and hyperpigmentation and how difficult it was to find the right products. “It has not been easy just finding that right potion or the right lotion or the right cream for your skin to make it luminous and supple. That can make it plump, makes it feel good,” said Toni.

The range available at the moment, includes a Sugar Plum Elixir Restore & Renew Body Serum, which features a moisturizing blend of humectants and preps your skin for heavy creams. You will also find available the Redifined sugar body mist, scented with orange blossom and Peruvian lime as well as the Creém, a long lasting moisturizer enriched with shea butter, sweet almond oil, and super-hydrator squalane. Products prices range from $18-$45.

“My skin as an African American tends to be a little drier, since I’m getting up there, just going outside in the sun, and all the years of the things that I’ve done to my body being in the entertainment business. For me, it was having hyperpigmentation or sometimes you get light spots. I wanted to do something that represented me. I wanted something that I knew really worked” Said Toni Braxton.

This is a brand that is environment-friendly and offers sustainable packaging and cruelty-free products. Toni has been working on this project for quite some time and she is delighted that it has finally come to fruition.

Many celebrities are going down a similar path as Toni, Naomi Osaka recently made an announcement to launch a vegan skincare brand called KINLO, which is also a brand for the people of color. Ariana Grande also developed a skincare line called R.E.M beauty which was named after her 2018 song R.E.M.
