Paramount Pictures has announced that ‘The Godfather’ will be returning to cinemas to celebrate its 50thanniversary; a new trailer had been released a week ago for the restored version of all the films, which included 1,000 hours of colour correction, restoration of the original tracks, and 4,000 hours of repairing the stains and tears. The work was completed under the direction of the film’s director Francis Ford Coppola.

The three films’ plot and trailers are as follows:

The Godfather

“Don Vito Corleone, head of a mafia family, decides to hand over his empire to his youngest son Michael. However, his decision unintentionally puts the lives of his loved ones in grave danger.”

The Godfather 2

“Michael, Vito Corleone’s son, attempts to expand his family’s criminal empire. While he strikes a business deal with gangster Hyman Roth, he remains unaware of the lurking danger.”

The Godfather 3

“When realisation strikes Micheal Corleone, he takes a tough call and decides to end his family’s criminal empire. He chooses his nephew as his successor, however, the mob refuses to let him go.”
