By  |

A two year old boy from Ghana Isaiah Gyamfi has been getting a lot of international attention as a child prodigy that knows how to count in at least 4 different languages and can also solve very complex math problems.

His mother stated that he started to show extraordinary intelligence as early as five months old, she says she would notice how much he enjoyed watching learning videos, so she one day decided to put a video where they were counting in Japanese, Isaiah watched the video back to back up until he was able to recite the numbers and that very day he learned how to count up to 40 in just 24hours, he was only 2years old at the time.

“He loves that Japanese has a pattern. Once you learn numbers 1-10, it’s very easy to learn the rest. After that he began teaching himself words and numbers in Spanish and French. The latest language he’s learning is Twi because Isaiah is of Ghanaian heritage. I’m learning it myself so I can support him and so far I think it is his favourite language to learn.” Said his mom.

Months had passed and Isaiah kept surprising his parents as he kept pointing out the correct letters and eventually sound them out phonetically. He also practiced writing numbers and solved complex math problems by himself. Isaiah went as far as teaching himself how to read, write and count in Spanish, French, and Twi.

Jazelle began to capture Isaiah’s learning achievements and share videos in an Instagram account for Isaiah. Several people are amazed at how Isaiah is actually enjoying learning, as evident in the videos.
