Sydney Sweeney Joins Dakota Johnson For Sony’s Marvel Film ‘Madame Web’

‘Euphoria’ star Sydney Sweeney has just been confirmed to star in Sony’s Marvel film ‘Madame Web’, alongside Dakota Johnson who will be starring in the titular role. No other cast members have been announced, including dates for the film release and first looks. Sony has recently been working on expanding its Spider-Man-centric Universe of Marvel Characters; and so far, this includes ‘Venom’, ‘Morbius’, the planned ‘Kraven’ film, and now ‘Madame Web’. The film was first announced in 2019; Dakota Johnson joined the cat in February, while Sydney Sweeney confirmed to have joined just recently. No other cast members have yet been announced, so we can only wait until further information.

SJ Clarkson is set to direct ‘Madame Web’, which may be well-known to viewers of the 1990s Spider-Man animated series, where the titular character was projected as an observer and mentor to Peter Parker.
