Now, the studio has recently announced that the star would be returning to the MCU in another role!

Scarlett Johansson has starred in several instalments of Marvel’s Avengers as a shield agent, though sadly, her character died in the film ‘Avengers: Endgame’; and since the film ‘Black Widow’, fans have been very hopeful in the actress’ return to the Marvel franchise. According to Entertainment Weekly, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige announced recently that they are creating something that will feature Scarlett Johansson, which was great news for all Marvel fans who were hoping for her return in some way or another. This information was disclosed at the American Cinematheque Award ceremony that honoured the actress.

The president Kevin Feige said during a keynote speech at the American Cinematheque Award ceremony, “We are already working with Scarlett on another non-Black Widow-related top-secret Marvel Studios project with her as a producer. Scarlett is one of the most talented, versatile, and beloved actors of our time. It has truly been a pleasure to work with someone of her calibre, from the epic training sessions preparing for the hallway fight in Iron Man 2 to the around-the-world press tour for Avengers: Endgame to partnering with you as a producer on Black Widow.”

He added, “Working with you, Scarlett, has truly been one of the most memorable and rewarding collaborations of my career.”
