This year the CW channel is “expected to be sold to a new parent company and, as a result, the network has been” choosing which shows are returning and which are being cancelled; recent news has it that ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ and ‘Naomi’ have officially come to an end. This only begs the question of what will happen to ‘Riverdale’, a series that has gone on for six seasons. Although ‘Riverdale’ ratings have been going down, the show still ended up getting renewed for the seventh season, surviving the list of cancellations, which led to a number of funny reactions on social media.
