Today marks 8 years since Paul Walker died and his family and friends have put out touching tributes in memory of the actor, among those were his fast and furious co star Vin Diesel and his daughter.
Actor and friend Vin Diesel shared a touching tribute to his late friend Paul, he wrote a message which said:
“So much to tell you,” he wrote. “I can remember that day when you and I were filming that scene in F4 where we were eating Chinese food and we had a brother combat scene which ended in you saying ‘Letty just wanted you to come home Dom…’
“When we were done filming that day you came into my trailer and asked, what’s on your mind? You always knew when something was on my mind. Haha. I told you that I was about to have a baby and didn’t know what to expect at the hospital which I was heading to after work.”
Paul was born on September the 12th, 1973, he considered himself an outdoor kind of person who loved acting, Paul had been an actor since 1985, he had gained a reputation as a teen hearthrob aster appearing in movies like “Varsity Blues” and “she’s all that” back in 1999.
However, it wasn’t until 2001 when he was cast as undercover cop and street racer Brian O’Connor in “The Fast and the Furious” movie franchise that he would become internationally known. At the time of his death, Paul was in the middle of filming fast and furious 7 but the creators did not kill off his character, however, as VFX artists, with the help of Walker’s two brothers, created 350 shots to keep him on the screen for the remainder of the film, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The film was retooled and released in 2015.
