POMPI AND MAGG 44 RELEASE NEW MUSIC VIDEO

Gospel giants Pompi and Magg 44 have today released their music video for ‘Kontolola’, the song was produced by Magg44 and video directed by Sukez, a Malawian director who was the director of the Oscar nominated film ‘Fatsani’. The song which is both uplifting and encouraging is definitely one to look out for.

The music video was released in the early hours of today and it has already started receiving great feedback from both their fans, the video is a really great video which has the potential to compete internationally. Pompi has been really busy of late on the music side of things as he has been releasing quite a number of songs alongside videos. He recently held a competition in which potential singers had to post a video of themselves singing to one of his songs and the contestant with the most shares gets the opportunity to work with him. The competition has since come to an end and we await the product of the winner.

The two artists have collaborated on several projects, they have even worked on a joint album together, their chemistry is effortless and they seem to have so much fan doing it. Pompi once said he does not understand how the two manage to finish a track together as they are always laughing, which makes it hard to work but somehow it always works out perfectly.

Ever since his transition from a Circular artist to gospel, we have witnessed his career take a major turn into something bigger than it was before and he has shown a great level of consistency ever since and that has secured him a slot as one of Zambia’s leading male artists. Magg 44 has also been busy with his projects, he recently opened a music school that trains young people in music production. The two are playing their parts in contributing positively in the Zambian music industry which should be commended.
