Natural History Museum Ice Rink Turning Into Hub For Urban Wildlife Next Year

By  |

“Set against the backdrop of the Waterhouse building, the Ice Rink at the Natural History Museum is one of the most magical places to be this winter,” and this year is your last chance to experience skating at this amazing venue, because from next year, the area will be transformed into a hub for urban wildlife.

The ice rink is open from 11am to 10pm daily, though times vary so check the website HERE when booking tickets, and it is open to skate from the 22nd of October 2021 to the 16th of January 2022. The only day you will not be able to skate is the 25th of December, which is Christmas Day. Adult tickets cost from £12.65, and children cost from £8.80; family tickets and museum member discounts are also available.

Use this last chance to experience the thrill of skating in an open area surrounded by fairy lights in frost-covered trees, where you feel like you can dance on ice right where the National History Museum lies. In this festive season, this is a great place to visit with friends, family, or a date! You would not want to miss out this chance of skating here as it has been an incredible 16 years since the Ice Rink opened, and now that it will be closing, we are expecting other great things to come from the near future, but until then, visit for the last time and see how much of a great time you will have.
