Movie Review : Guardians of the Galaxy

Light years from Earth, 26 years after being abducted, Peter Quill finds himself the prime target of a manhunt after discovering an orb wanted by Ronan the Accuser.

Pros

• Great acting by  the whole cast . WWE wrestler, Batista, has a surprising good performance as Drax the destroyer .
• The visual effects and the different characters were simply fantastic .
• The story was nicely told with some twists and turns . It left enough room for the story to continue in a sequel.

Cons

• The movie takes some time to get started .  For the first 10 -15 minutes you may be wondering what is going on .

Conclusion 

Guardians of the Galaxy pulls you into their “galaxy” . It takes you on a fun ,adventurous ride , filled with action ,intrigue , and a bit of comedy. The character development was done exceptionally . You get to learn something about each of the main characters and that makes you invest in them emotionally . The story felt fresh and original which is great ,in the midst of so many sequels and remakes of movies . This is a movie that the whole family can enjoy together .
