MCU Scenes That Were Actually Improvised

Unplanned moments happen all the time to anyone and everyone, which even includes actors and actresses from the famous Marvel films. There are various iconic lines and scenes created through improvisation when an actor or actress had forgotten their line, so if you have not heard of these before, then read on and find the best MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) moments that were actually not even on the script!

Iron Man
At the end of the film, the famous “I am Iron Man” line was a moment that Robert Downey Jr. had improvised! The producer and president of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige told Insider that “If you’re changing something for no reason, that’s one thing, but if you’re changing something because you want to double-down on the spirit of who the character is? That’s a change we’ll make. Tony Stark not reading off the card and not sticking with the fixed story? Him just blurting out ‘I am Iron Man?’ That seems very much in keeping with who that character is.”
Ant-Man
Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne were training, and after Hope’s punch, Scott says, “Were you aiming for the face, or were you going for the hand?” This caused a lot of laughter and ended up being added to the film!
Thor: Ragnarok
Chris Hemsworth, playing Thor, forced a reluctant Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, to pretend to be injured in one of the scenes, which was entirely Chris Hemsworth’s ideas. According to director Taika Waititi, “There’s a lot in things in the film which have come straight from his input. I’m very lucky to have someone around who’s very invested in the emotionality of the scenes, but wants to have fun.”
Avengers: Infinity War
Wanda and Vison shared a very tearful goodbye and turns out that that whole scene was a complete improvisation! The two stars shared that directors Joseph and Anthony Russo walked up to Olsen and Bettany on set and asked them to ab-lib the dialogue for the death scene.
Captain America: Civil War
Tony visits Peter Parker for the first time in this film, and at one point he crosses the room to sit next to the young hero. However, it seemed that the actor Tom Holland had forgotten to move his leg aside so in the film Tony Stark said, “I’m going to sit here, so you move the leg.”
