Marvel’s Moon Knight Miniseries On Disney+

With its first episode having been released on the 30th of March 2022, ‘Moon Knight’ is a television miniseries created by Jeremy Slater based on the Marvel Comics featuring the character Moon Knight. This is available to watch on the streaming service Disney+ every week on Wednesday from the 30th of March to the 4th of May, releasing six episodes in total. As the sixth television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), this show is produced by Marvel Studios and shares a connection with the films of the franchise, so read on if you are a fan of the Marvel films and series.

The miniseries is an action-adventure fantasy that is confirmed to be a part of Phase Four of the MCU; it is also defined as a psychological horror themed film with superheroes. However, this series can be watched without having knowledge of previous Marvel films, therefore, it is also considered a standalone film within the Marvel universe. The head writer for ‘Moon Knight’ is Jeremy Slater, with Mohamed Diab leading the directing team. Executive producers include Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Grant Curtis, Oscar Isaac, Mohamed Diab, and Jeremy Slater.

The leading character named Marc Spector, aka Moon Knight, is described to be a mercenary who has dissociative identity disorder. Take a look at other characters also in the main cast starring in ‘Moon Knight’:

Filming for ‘Moon Knight’ took place from April to October of 2021, with various locations such as Budapest, Jordan, Slovenia, and Atlanta in Georgia. With only one episode released so far, the series has received a lot of positive reviews, particularly for Oscar Isaac’s performance.
