MARGOT ROBBIE AND RYAN GOSLING TO STAR IN NEW BARBIE MOVIE

Margot Robbie is starring as Barbie in the new upcoming movie and Ryan Gosling is in the final stages of negotiating for his role as Ken, a roe he initially denied due to him filming another movie at the time but the production of Barbie had been pushed forward which Ryan was now available for.

With Ryan close to signing his contract the movie might soon start filming, details of what the plot of the story will look like are unclear as at now and fans have been very eager to find out more but judging from Grewigs past style of directing it will probably not be your typical Barbie movie. Her breakout movie ‘The lady bird’ earned 5 Oscar Nominations and her latest movie ‘Little women’ also got 6 Oscar nominations .

Robbie is producing the film under her production company Lucky chap entertainment. Many feel Ran Gosling is the best person to play the role of Ken as it fits him so well and they believe he will be able to execute it with excellence. He just finished filming on his latest project ‘The Gray man’ along side Chris Evans.

In an interview with British Vogue, Margot said “It comes with a lot of baggage and a lot of nostalgic connections but with that comes a lot of exciting ways to attack it. People generally hear ‘Barbie’ and think, ‘I know what that movie is going to be,’ and then they hear that Greta Gerwig is writing and directing it, and they’re like, ‘Oh, well, maybe I don’t.’”
