KB was appointed CEO of Nexus music last year and has signed the like’s of Chef 187, Yo maps, Towela kaira, Chanda na Kay and T Sean to name a few. He was also the National Treasurer for the Zambia Association of Musicians. He has been in the music business for a while and is still going strong.

It goes without saying the impact KB has had on Zambian music. His passion for music shows in his various projects and year after year he has managed to stay consistent as well as relevant, which is not easy to do nowadays as there is always someone new on the scene and can take your place at any given point. He is a perfect example of believing in your dreams even if no one else does. He has managed to attain a great level of success in a career that many look down on and is still going strong. Despite his success, KB has remained humble over the years, this could probably be the secrete to his longevity, as we have seen many Talented people not succeeding due to a not so pleasing character, which usually leaves a bad taste in people’s mouth.

He started off as radio presenter at choice Fm in 2004, moved to QFM in 2005 where he worked till 2012. He won best Dj at the Zambia music awards in 2006. His first full credit production work was ‘doubting’ by Judy. My Diary has now become the producer’s trade mark as he has gone on to release several of them. On these diaries, various artist’s air out their challenges in the music industry. They speak candidly on matter’s that hurt them In their music journey, whether it was by a fellow artist or producer. Fans have shown appreciation for the project because it gives them the chance to have to get to know what their favorite artist’s have had to go through in this music industry. Artist like Kunkeyani, Bobby east, Krytic, Juvic, Camstar, Slapdee, Jay Rox and many others have had a verse on ‘My Diary’.

A lot of artist’s have acknowledged that had it not been for this man believing in them, they would not have had a chance in the industry. He is known for signing acts that other labels would not see the potential but some how he does and chooses to take a risk on them. One particular artist would be Jae Cash, he was upcoming for so many years, some people even thought he did not have what it takes to become a big artist but KB never stopped believing in the young talent and Jae Cash has since become a house hold name.
