The Nexus music signed artist Jemax this Sunday held a premiere for his music video ‘Ichilaka’. The long awaited event took place at Lusaka’s Sky Bar lounge and by the looks of things it was an absolute success. Nexus music went all out for this premier, it was heavily advertised and well funded, nearly every artist signed to the record label made a special guest appearance, as well as artist from other labels that are affiliated to Jemax, which definitely boosted the event.

Big Names in the Zambian music industry showed out for the video launch, artist’s such as Kalandanya music promotions signed artist Macky 2, Afunika ‘The eye of an eagle’, Bombshell, Chanda na Kay, Yo Maps, Towela Kaira, Chef 187, Luchi and many more.

The actual video was released a day after its premier on Monday the 30th and the video already has 30,000 YouTube views just a day after release, Nexus Music shared the news on their official Face book page today;

“Feedback: Thank you! 30000 YouTube views in 23hrs! please tell us what you like and do not like about the Jemax music video featuring Spartan Makaveli as we work hard to give you better Zambian music and music video’s.”

The Video that looks like it was shot on the streets of Jamaica is very colorful and well put together, fans have expressed their sentiments and are appreciating the rapper’s work on the project. One other interesting aspect of the video was the appearance of the sensational Commander Grace doing her famous squats. The Grace rose to fame some time in July when a video of her doing her squats went viral on social media and she instantly became a house hold name, so it is no surprise that she was in the music video.

R&B artist Roberto was in attendance

Former Classic music Records Rapper, a talented song writer and Hip Hop ace out of Kabwe. He rose to fame after the release  of  his single “Ba Chilolo”. Signed under Alpha ENT Studios, Kopala Swag representing 70 N****z of Kabwe.
His real names are James Kawele Kavimba, born on 5th November, 1993 in a place called Kamushanga in Kabwe. Jemax started music in 2008 and by then he was in grade seven. He completed his secondary level of education in 2013.
