How To Manifest Your Dreams And Thoughts Into Reality

You may wake up one day and decide to chase your ambitions and dreams, wanting to turn them into reality; however, while you should not expect to change your life overnight or easily, you can expect to see changes soon if you start taking proactive steps now. If this sounds like something you are interested in, then read on because I will give a simple yet helpful guide in getting your life together and manifesting your thoughts and dreams, turning them into your reality.

What is manifestation?
According to Oprah Daily, “manifestation is bringing something tangible into your life through attraction and belief, i.e. if you think it, and it will come. However, there is more to manifestation than willpower and positive thinking.” Author of ‘A Spiritual Entrepreneur’, Angelina Lombardo, said, “manifesting is making everything you want to feel and experience a reality… via your thoughts, actions, beliefs, and emotions.”
Create clear goals
To start, you first need very clear and specific goals; knowing what you want will more likely motivate you to achieve it, rather than being unclear or vague with your goals, leading to changing your mind and “making it easier for yourself” every time you feel you will not achieve a goal. Once you have formed a clear goal, keep a diary or journal, and write down what you want. Pinpoint exactly what you are looking to do, your hopes, your dreams, thoughts and more.

Visualise
Psychologists have researched and found that visualising something you want lights up a part of the brain and leads you to start doing or saying what you are visualising. Here is a study carried out by Ranganathan and colleagues from the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Ohio, which showed the power of the brain when doing an experiment on finger exercises:
“To be expected, the people who completed the physical exercises saw a 53% increase in finger strength. Amazingly, the people who only visualized the exercises saw a whopping 35% increase in finger strength. As expected, those that did none of the exercises saw no significant change.”

Activities to help along the way:
- Meditate
- Yoga
- Create a vision board
- Keep a journal
- Conduct a skill evaluation for yourself
- Positivity book or quotes for everyday
If you start today, you will improve tomorrow, so do not wait to start at a particular time; once you finish reading this, start following this guide and write down your goals, the rest will come naturally. Good luck!
