The Diamond TV personality of the year awards took place this past Saturday and it was quite an eventful night, the set up was amazing and the guests were dressed to impress. The event started at about 17hrs which was dedicated t red carpet appearances up until 19hrs and that was about the time the main event took place. It was a star studded event with appearances from the likes of Mampi, Macky 2, Kangwa Chileshe, Towela Kaira, David Kashiki and many more.
The award ceremony was nothing short of entertainment from Macky 2’s performance all the way to Mutale Mwanza’s infamous award acceptance speech. The Diamond TV presenters did an exceptional job, they definitely understood the assignment.
One disappointing factor about the awards were the fact that most of the award recipients were not there to receive the award, some walked in really late and others were a complete no show which must have been disheartening to the organizers of the show.
