Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3: Will Poulter cast as Adam Warlock

News of Will Poulter joining the cast of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3’ as Adam Warlock was confirmed just yesterday on 11th October 2021 through James Gunn’s official Twitter. His character has been teased to appear in the third film of the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ franchise since the post-credit scene of the film ‘Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2’; although, he did not visibly appear in that scene, he was instead mentioned by another character called Ayesha, who is played by Elizabeth Debicki.

Marvel’s ‘Guardian of the Galaxy’ first released in 2014, followed by the second film in 2017, and now the upcoming third film is expected to release in 2023; and as part of an extremely popular franchise, the news of Adam Warlock being played by Will Poulter has gotten everyone excited on social media, as many people have commented on how he is “a great actor”.

The character of Adam Warlock was originally created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Roy Thomas, and with actor Will Poulter now onboard for the film ‘Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3’, shooting is expected to kick off next month November 2021, while the release date for the film is scheduled for May 2023.

In the post-credit scene of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2’, Ayesha, played by Elizabeth Debicki, unveils to her chambermaid the perfect Sovereign she has created to help destroy the Guardians once and for all; and since this scene, most Marvel fans have been waiting patiently to find out who is the character “Adam” that she speaks of, and who is the actor that will take on the role for the new ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ film.

Now that we have a new character in the upcoming film of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3’, we cannot wait to see what new troubles are being caused in the galaxy, so keep a look out for further news and updates to make sure you are ready for the film release in May 2023!
