Emirates, which flies daily from Lusaka to Dubai and Harare, came together with Zambia’s Indian community at the weekend to celebrate the cuisine of Kerala state.

Emirates representatives were on hand to share a range of traditional foods at the annual Kairali Food Fete, organised by the Zambia Malayalee Cultural Association and held at the International School of Lusaka on November 10.

Top prize at the event’s raffle in aid of charity was an Emirates return air ticket from Lusaka to Dubai, won by Mr S.I. Gupta.

There were also spot prizes of Emirates branded caps, pens, t-shirts and water bottles.

Emirates flies daily between Lusaka and Dubai, where passengers can then connect to the airline’s twice-daily flights to Kerala state capital Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode and Kochi.
