Emirates Zambia Country Manager Mohammad Bin Hafiz

LUSAKA, ZAMBIA – Emirates, which flies daily direct from Lusaka to Dubai and Harare, has appointed Mohammad Bin Hafiz as its new Country Manager for Zambia.

Mr Bin Hafiz, whose appointment became effective from February 1, 2018, is now responsible for Emirates’ overall business in Zambia, overseeing sales and service functions for the airline’s passenger, cargo, management and airport operations and reports directly to Orhan Abbas, Emirates’ Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations Africa.

Mr Bin Hafiz holds a Bachelor’s degree in business from Dubai Men’s College, where his studies included e-commerce. He has worked with Emirates for eight years, during which time he served as Country Manager in Morocco for three years and District Manager in Riyadh for one year.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Bin Hafiz said, “I’m both honoured and very excited to be leading Emirates operations in Zambia. I look forward to working with our local team of dedicated and talented staff to ensure Emirates growth and continued success in the market.”

Customers travelling on Emirates can look forward to world class service and hospitality from the airline’s multi-national cabin crew, including Zambian and Zimbabwean nationals, while enjoying complimentary gourmet meals and beverages. Emirates also offers over 2,500 channels of on demand audio and visual entertainment on its ice system, from the latest movies, music and games, including 90 dedicated channels for children.

The airline’s young and environmentally friendly fleet comprises entirely wide-body aircraft – the popular Boeing 777 and iconic Airbus A380 aircraft in service.

Travellers can reach more than 150 destinations across six continents taking advantage of Emirates’ expanding network. EK 713 departs Lusaka every day at 21:35hrs, arriving in Dubai at 06:40hrs the next day. It departs Dubai at 09:30hrs and lands in Lusaka at 14:40hrs.
