DJ HMAC STARTS HIS NEW LABEL NEW AGE ENTERTAINMENT

DJ Hmac recently made an announcement ending his long term journey with XYZ and has moved on to create his own label called New Age Entertainment. Many have applauded the former XYZ manager on his brave decision to break away and chase his own dreams, at the same time loyal XYZ fans expressed disappointment towards this decision but this did not slow the DJ down.

Making the move along with Hmac were artists like Bmak, Kobby, DJ Rhys and Jorzi. They have quite an impressive team and the label already looks promising. They have not wasted anytime getting started with new projects and have already released 2 songs by Bmak and Dj Rhys.

DJ Rhys released her single Friday the 24th of September, the new release features Jorzi and Rapper Bmak was not far behind as he too released a project on the same day titled ‘Addicted to winning’ which is already receiving good feedback.

Hmac has served under XYZ as manager for over 9years so it will be interesting to see the amazing plans he has for New age come into fruition, he has gained enough experience with XYZ, which he joined at a very young age.

Many of the artists under New age are not known because some have not yet been fully exposed but now that Hmac has branched off he will definitely have more time to focus on these new artists and get them to a point of recognition, in the meantime lets get to know the artists under the label.

BMAK

He is a seasoned rapper that has been in the music industry for quite some time now, he had been with XYZ for over 7 years. He worked on various projects within the label as well as outside. It was actually shocking to many fans to see him move to New age entertainment.

DJ RHYS

She is the youngest member of new age, the talented Dj has already created an impressive profile for herself, she has played at big music events like the Beerville and the Hip Hop festival. Last year she released her first single titled “Celebrate” which features some great talents like Bow chase, Koby, Elisha long, Jorzi and Brawen. The song was released together with a video and both received great support.

KOBY

Koby dropped one single as an independent artist before joining XYZ and this got the labels attention which eventually got him signed. The song which is titled freedom was inspired by the great Nelson Mandela.

JORZI

Jorzi has been one of the artists in the background but has featured on a couple of records. He has a beautiful Afrobeats style of music and is certain to go far in his career. He featured on a song by Bobby east called ‘All over’ which is a Kalandaya music production.
