Dambisa Moyo is a Zambian-born economist and author of Dead Aid: Why Aid is Not Working and How There is a Better Way For Africa (2009), How the West Was Lost: Fifty Years of Economic Folly – And the Stark Choices that Lie Ahead (2011), and Winner Take All: China’s Race for Resources and What It Means for the World (June 2012).

A pioneer and revolutionary in our current generation, Dambisa Moyo is certainly a Zambian woman that has inspired many not only from Zambia but all around the world.

Dambisa holds a Doctorate in Economics from St Antony’s CollegeOxford University. In 1997, she earned a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. She also earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from the American University in Washington D.C.

She has worked for the World Bank as a Consultant and at Goldman Sachs where she worked in the debt capital markets and as an economist in the global macroeconomics team.

The Global Zambian shall be following Dambisa Moyo’s journey as she continues to inspire and implement ways of helping third world countries.
