BOMBSHELL BRINGS HOME THE AFRIMMA AWARD FOR BEST FEMALE RAPPER

Bombeshell Grenade has made her country proud and brought home the AFRIMMA award for best female rapper in Southern Africa. Fans who pledged to support and help the rapper bring the award home are overjoyed for her.

Bombshell was nominated in a very competitive category with the likes of Nadia Nakai and Keko but the the Zambian rapper managed to emerge victorious and he country could not be more proud.

2021 has been an amazing year for the rapper, we have seen her release some the country’s best music video’s under her new record label Nexus music where she signed a recording deal in 2020. She has been booked and busy throughout this period and it is absolutely amazing to see bring home the award.

Cleo Ice Queen recently won best female artist for southern Africa in a very competitive category at the AFRIMA awards which were held in Ghana on the 26th of November and she too made her country proud. Some would say that this win influenced fans to also show support to Bombshell and in turn bring home the award. Cleo herself posted on her socials and showed her support for her fellow rapper and urged fans to go out and vote for her as well.

It has been a great year for women in the Zambia music industry this year as we have seen them take center stage this year and begin to do amazing things. It is good to see them push hard and achieve big wins in a male dominated industry.
