ADELE SHARES TEASER FOR NEW SINGLE

Adele is by far one of the best musical pop talents of her generation to come out of England after Amy Winehouse. Her debut album 19 currently has currently sold an estimated 10 million copies worldwide, which is no surprise as it debuted at number one in the UK charts, peaked at number four on the US Billboard 200, is certified 7× Platinum in the UK, and 3× Platinum in the US.

A prolific singer and songwriter; Adele’s music transcends across the globe due to its relatable lyrics that are mostly based on heartbreak, and relationships; paired with her soothing vocals is the reason why her music is loved by many. However it is not just her music that fans are drawn to; her infectious down to earth personality of a simple girl from Tottenham North London, who simply loves to make music about her life experiences, makes her the artist many can relate to.

The multi award winning singer yesterday took to Twitter with a teaser of her up coming single ‘Easy On Me’ due for release on the 15th of October. This came as a pleasant surprise for fans and music lovers worldwide as she has been on hiatus since for some time and much similar to another pop sensation Rihanna, Adele fans were eager to know when she would be releasing new music. As they waited with baited breath, this certainly has given them a great sigh of relief followed by excitement as she has remained trending on twitter for the last 24 hours, with fans posting memes of tsunamis as an indication of Adele’s music taking over the airwaves.

In the black-and-white video, the singer is seen placing a cassette into a car stereo and looking in her car’s rear-view mirror, while driving down a country land and pieces of paper flying out the window. Fans of the singer have expressed excitement to the return of Adele, many thought they would never get a chance to see her sing or perform again but are glad the singer has decided to put out new music.

“I’m ready to build fake scenarios in my head to feel the song more,” one fan commented. “I won’t predict it will be the biggest song of the year cause it’s obvious,” another fan also commented on the clip.

This new release marks the singers latest material since splitting from her ex husband, billboards written 30 had begun to appear in different cities across the world insinuating the title of her next album as the singer has always named her songs after the age she was at the time of the release eg 19, 21 and 25. Though she is currently 33.

According to Vulture, soon after Adele’s album is released, a television show might follow suit, some kind of a special to promote the new album. It has been reported that the singer’s team has approached multiple networks and platforms about staging a TV program in line with the new release. It is great that Adele took the necessary time away from music and decided to return when she felt she was ready, the industry can be such a dangerous space if you do not take care of yourself accordingly. One can only imagine the depth in the singers upcoming music, she usually takes long breaks in between albums.
