Singer and song writer Adekunle Gold is set to release new single this Friday titled ‘High’ featuring Davido. The single which was produced by Pheelz is part of Adekunle Golds fourth coming studio album.

“I wanted to write a song about something that made you forget your worries. This came with ease as most things do when you are grateful for life and living it on a high,” said Adekunle.

The Video is also scheduled to be released on the same day on Friday at about 3pm, it was directed by Nicholas Maggio. The Singer has been receiving a lot of love lately for his music, he has been around for a while but this year seems to have favored the Afro pop singer because he has acquired a whole new stream of fans, especially internationally.

His feel good song’s almost always put you in a good mood and are very easy to relate to. Singles from his fourth coming album ‘Sinner’ and ‘it is what it is’ are already getting massive airplay and fans are showing love for the artist. It has put the fourth coming album in a really good position in terms of sales even before it is officially released. Many have high expectations for the album because the artist has not disappointed yet. His previous albums have done very well in terms of sales and as well as topping some charts. Adekunle has become a real force to reckon with on the international market due to his consistency and flawless delivery of his songs.

Adenkule married his long term Girlfriend and fellow musician Simi in 2019 and the two now have a child together, they have collaborated on a couple of songs. One of the hits ‘sinner’ which is on his upcoming album is a sweet dedication to his wife Simi, who also appears in the music video. The two show some affection and passion for each other in the music video. The video was released on July 22 2021 and it already has 3,302,145 views, Adekunle definitely did not come play this year.

This is the first time Davido and Adekunle are working together and Davido has stated that this collaboration has been a long time coming.
